The Alzheimer’s Association, in support of the Otis Smith Kids Foundation of Jacksonville, is sponsoring a “Big Cat.” Thanks to Wayne Shrum of Middleburg who has underwritten the sponsorship of our “Big Cat” in memory of his wife, Lorraine. For a minimum donation of $50, you submit two copies of a 2 x 3 or 4 x 6 inch photograph of a loved one to our office before June 30th. The photos will be laid out on the Big Cat and trimmed with paints to look like a mosaic. If you would like to pick your spot, bring the photo to our office before June 30th. We are working with volunteer artist, Diantha York-Ripley, whose father died from Alzheimer’s, to create our mosaic. |
